BiangBiang noodles are one of Shaanxi’s “eight curiosities”: noodles as wide as a trouser belt. Broad ribbons are finished with sizzling hot chili oil, releasing their aroma with a hiss. Our DIY kit lets you experience this famous Shaanxi noodle dish at home.
The kit contains 4 servings of handmade wide noodles (semi-dried), 60g of Qinjiao chili powder, 20g of Sichuan pepper powder, 4 garlic packs, and 4 soy sauce and vinegar seasoning packs. Preparation: boil the noodles for 3 minutes → cover with chili powder and garlic → heat oil and pour it over the noodles → listen for the sizzle.
